THE 4LK Ranch STORY

In 2021 we decided we wanted to move out of the city and buy some land that we could build our dream. We had 2 properties fall through and banks telling us no left and right. But we know now that was all apart of the plan. We ended up in Santo, Tx and it feels like home. This community is a great place to raise our kids with values that’s match ours. We have amazing neighbors and we all take care of one another.

December 2021 we moved into and RV and started preparing the land to raise cattle. Building fences, clearing land, installing wells and roads to access all the property. We had to find a way to pay for us to live this life on a ranch. We choose wagyu cattle through the guidance of our good friends over at Patterson Wagyu in Springtown, Tx. We are big time foodies and this got us excited about raising something of high quality that everyone could enjoy. We understand that it is important to you to know where your meat comes from, and what is in it. Something that we are passionate about ourselves.

May 2022 we purchase our first group of bred fullblood wagyu cows. Starting to feel like our plan is coming together. July 2022 we began construction of our home. This process took 13 months to complete. We moved in August 2023. We are learning everyday more and more about improving our process. We are now providing replacement heifers and the highest quality beef we possibly can.

Our Story

Our 4LK Ranch name derives from our family last names. We are the Lane’s and my grandparents are the Kitchen’s. Started a construction company 9yrs with my grandfather and none of this would have been possible with out that faith from him back in 2015. Our dream is becoming reality with the faith and love of our family and friends. And our plan as first generation ranchers is to be passed down for many more years to come.
